Easton Grange Wedding

I was absolutely honoured to be asked a second time by Gift of a Wedding to be involved in photographing the wedding of K and J. What an absolutely wonderful day it was!

Easton Grange is a stunning luxury barn venue located in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, near a village called Easton. It was a working farm (called Low Farm, Easton), but is now a wonderful wedding venue! I would describe it as serene, peaceful and intimate.  There is even a beautiful river running right through the property – the River Deben. The whole wedding day was held at Easton Grange, with the ceremony in the purpose built Ceremony Barn and the reception in the Reception Barn.

I love finding out the history of wedding venues as UK venues often have a pretty interesting and colourful history (largely due to their age). When the dairy closed at Low Farm, the buildings were used to store wheat, fertiliser and potatoes. In 2012 it was refurbished and restored into the wedding venue you see today. The old buildings have still maintained their character and fit in seamlessly with the newer buildings, which is fabulous to see. I feel it gives the venue a rustic vibe whilst still being modern.

K and J are just a wonderful couple and their wedding was simply amazing – emotional, full of love, laughter and fun. I had an absolutely incredible time and they were just great to work with. We got very lucky with the weather; after some rain earlier in the day, the sun came out at golden hour (the hour before sunset, which is the perfect time for photos). Naturally we headed outside and snapped a few more photographs!

Below is a selection of some of my favourites from the day.

If you are looking for wedding photography at Easton Grange and want a relaxed documentary style photographer who also gets a handful of (natural) portraits, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
